At Triumph Taekwon-Do, we are dedicated to helping our students improve their lives and develop into positive, responsible, citizens with healthy minds and bodies. We follow the physical and mental training provided by the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) system.  We are one of thousands of ITF affiliated and accredited schools operating in more than 90 countries around the world.

ITF Taekwon-Do is a Martial Art, a Sport, a Way of Life and a Tool for Social Development. with member schools in 90 countries and nearly 1 million students training, the ITF is the original world governing body for Taekwon-Do.  Black Belts certified at Triumph Taekwon-Do are recognised at ITF schools around the world.

We have a focus on developing strong martial arts skills and practical self defence skills balanced with the “sport” or competition aspect of our art.

In Canada, ITF Taekwon-Do is used as a tool for social development by helping people to improve their lives to become confident, strong, productive, positive members of society.

We teach the techniques and philosophy of the ITF; the original form of Taekwon-Do founded by General Choi Hong Hi in 1955. Our techniques are fully modern, efficient, effective and easy to learn because they are continually evolving and improving based on physical science and the most up-to-date teaching methods.

Our philosophy crosses all boundaries of race, religion and ideology. It is based on the ancient, family-oriented moral cultures of Korea, China and Japan. The core values we live by and our students learn are called the Tenets of Taekwon-Do:

CourtesyIntegrity
PerseveranceSelf-Control

Indomitable Spirit

Above all, we are a Black Belt school. We believe that any individual can develop the mental and physical skills and attitude that it takes to be a Black Belt in martial arts and in life. Our goal is to provide guidance and leadership to assist individuals and families to achieve Black Belt Excellence.

Black Belts accredited through our program are registered and certified by the International Taekwon-Do Federation.  They are recognized world wide at any affiliated school.

Authentic, original,  international recognition!

Our instructors are accredited and licensed by the International Taekwon-Do Federation. The oldest and original worldwide governing body for traditional Taekwon-Do. All assistant instructors work under the direct supervision of qualified instructors.
